Kalidou Koulibaly, captain of Senegal, and Edouard Mendy, his starting goalkeeper, returned to training waiting to receive the OK to play again after missing the first two games for their team after having tested positive for Covid. This was announced this Sunday by the Senegal Football Federation. Sadio Mané’s team is waiting to know if Koulibaly and Mendy will be able to play this Tuesday against Malawi in Bafoussam.
The Napoli defender and the Chelsea goalkeeper are training separately while waiting for the results of their latest PCRs. Bamba Dieng, the last of the Senegalese internationals to recover from Covid, arrived in Cameroon on Saturday from Senegal.
