Sara Hurtado, Patricia González and Lucía Santiago participate in the ‘Women and Sports’ conference at Universid Nebrija

The Olympic ice skater Sara Hurtado, the European futsal champion Patricia González ‘Peque’ and the Communication director of the Higher Sports Council (CSD), Lucía Santiago, will participate on March 7 (4:30 p.m.), among others, at the I Nebrija Sports Communication Conference ‘Women and Sports’ at the headquarters of the Nebrija University in Madrid.

On this day, topics such as the media visibility of female athletes, women in sports newsrooms and sports institutions, and the importance of promoting, from the university, subjects that mark their empowerment in sports will be discussed.

Also present at the event will be the director of the Women’s Sport Institute, Alejandra Domínguez; the ambassador of the Women’s Football League Anäir Lomba; Sonia Lus, journalist from Cadena Ser; Elena Jiménez, RTVE journalist; Nira Juanco, deputy director of DAZN’s Formula 1 program; and Inmaculada Martínez, director of the Movistar+ Sports Editorial Office.
