MADRID, 7 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The coach José Ramón Sandoval has been appointed coach of Fuenlabrada for the remainder of the season with the option of one more, the Madrid club reported on Monday, which dismissed Sergio Pellicer on Sunday after Saturday’s defeat against Burgos (1-2 ), which aggravated the team’s results crisis in LaLiga SmartBank.
In this way, Sandoval returns to a team that he already directed from March 2020 to February 2021, and will try to repeat or improve his balance in his first eleven games as coach from Fuenlabrada, in which he achieved six wins, three draws and two losses.
The man from Madrid, who has been on the bench for Rayo Vallecano, Sporting de Gijón, Granada or Córdoba, arrives with his second coach, Ismael Martínez, who was with him during his previous stage at the club. “I’m looking forward to meeting the fans, since in my previous stage I couldn’t have them on the field, and together we’re going for these twelve finals that we have left. We’re going to save ourselves,” he assured.
Fuenlabrada (26) is penultimate in LaLiga SmartBank, seven points from the permanence zone after linking six consecutive games without winning, the last two with defeat.
