Salomon has launched the new model of its iconic trail running shoe ‘Sense Ride 5’, just as versatile as the previous version, but with improvements in terms of comfort, grip and resistance, within its ‘This is Trail’ campaign Running’, reports the multinational sports equipment.
As one of the leading trail running brands for the past two decades, Salomon has supported many of the sport’s top athletes from ultra-distance running to ‘shorter’ competitions such as marathons.
Whether inspired by these top-tier trail runners or wanting to escape into the great outdoors, more and more daily runners are escaping to the mountains for even more fun while running.
For this reason, the first concern that these runners have regarding footwear is not the weight or the upper or the drop that they have, but rather, according to a market study, 80 percent of runners want their trail running shoes to be comfortable over any other feature that affects performance.
For the spring-summer 2023 season and as part of the ‘This is Trail Running’ campaign, Salomon presents the most comfortable trail running shoes it has launched to date, and also improves on some iconic models that have founded the reputation of the brand in this sport like the Sense Ride 5, which now has a new sole with more grip.
The Salomon Sense Ride 5 is a versatile trail running shoe, with a resistant Energy Foam in the midsole that makes it softer than the previous version, with a balance of cushioning and reactivity. The new Contagrip All Terrain sole is now stronger and more reliable on more surfaces. And the upper incorporates Engineered Mesh, which is light and flexible, so that the foot support is better and more comfortable.
