MADRID, 10 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Real Madrid centre-back Antonio Rüdiger has a muscle injury in the vastus lateralis of his left thigh, the white club confirmed this Saturday, meaning he will miss the LaLiga EA Sports duel this Saturday against Girona and will be out for about two weeks .
“After the tests carried out today on our player Antonio Rüdiger by the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a muscle injury in the vastus lateralis of his left thigh,” the Madrid club announced in a statement.
Although the club has limited itself to ensuring that it is “pending development”, the German defender will be away from the playing fields for two weeks, which leaves Carlo Ancelotti's team without centre-backs for their next commitments.
And the long-term absences of the Brazilian Éder Militao and the Austrian David Alaba, both with cruciate ligament rupture, were also joined by that of Nacho Fernández, with muscular overload.
