Rüdiger denies that he received racist insults from a Sporting de Braga assistant

MADRID, 25 Oct. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The German footballer Antonio Rüdiger, Real Madrid defender, denied this Wednesday at midnight that he received racist insults from an assistant coach of Sporting de Braga, in reference to the match that the meringues won against the Portuguese team (1-2) in matchday 3 of the Champions League.

“Everything is fine again guys. I’m calm. He definitely didn’t racially insult me, there was just a small dispute after our paths crossed after the final whistle. Let’s focus on Saturday now!!!” Rüdiger said from his account on the social network X (former Twitter), thus alluding to the next League match against FC Barcelona.

Hours before his comment, he had starred in a tangana at the end of the meeting in Braga. Thanks to his scuffle with Sporting’s technical staff, the German defender had to be restrained by his teammates Vinícius Jr. and Nacho Fernández, without the uproar escalating.
