On July 4, Quique Sánchez Flores’ players will return to work and by then the club’s goal is for the squad to be well advanced.
Reyes has a long career as a footballer and He came to play for Getafe during the season of Azulón’s first promotion to the First Division. When he retired, he did not disassociate himself from football to work at Alcobendas Sport, Rayo Vallecano and finally as sports director of Oviedo in the last campaign.
He will replace Ángel Martín González, who left the Coliseum after fulfilling his contract. The first complicated mission for Rubén Reyes will be to resolve the situation of the various loaned of the club and of some players who do not count. Together with Ángel Torres and Quique, they will try to put together a squad that allows Getafe not to go through the difficulties of last season.
