Forward Roger Martí was proud after having completed two hundred official matches with Levante and confessed that it has not been “easy” to earn a place in the first team of the Valencian club where he made his debut in 2011 after being promoted from the subsidiary.
“I'm very happy. Who was going to tell me when I debuted almost ten years ago? It's hard to earn a spot when you come out of the quarry. It has cost me but I have succeeded, “he told the official media.
The Valencian forward pointed out that it has been “a long road”, but commented that it is not over yet. “I'm in a good moment, but I think I can still give much more,” said Roger.
“I feel very loved and valued by the environment and the club. I am very grateful to the club for giving me the opportunity ”, he added.
The Levante player explained that one of his best moments with the team was promotion to the First Division in 2017 and the worst the two serious knee injuries he has suffered in his career.
In addition, Roger confessed that if he had to choose a partner in these almost ten years he would stay sportingly with the Ivorian forward Arouna Koné and on a personal level with the Valencian Rubén García, current Osasuna player.
