The ex player of the FC Barcelona Vítor Borba Ferreira, Rivaldo, affirmed this Thursday that his wish, after the dismissal of Ronald Koeman as a culé coach, is that his former teammate Xavi Hernández becomes the new coach of the Blaugrana team.
“After Koeman’s departure, I would like very much that Xavi Hernández had the opportunity to be the new coach of FC Barcelona”, wrote the Brazilian Rivaldo in his account of Instagram.
“I have a lot of confidence in him to get the club out of this situation,” added the former Brazilian international, who accompanied his words with a collage of photos of him with Xavi Hernandez in their stage as players of the FC Barcelona.
The Barça dismissed Ronald Koeman at dawn this Thursday after the defeat against Rayo Vallecano (1-0) on matchday 11 of the Santander League. The culés occupy the ninth position in the table and add three points of nine possible in ‘Champions’.
