The incident took place on May 1 during the match that Everton beat Chelsea at Goodison Park (1-0) with a goal precisely from Richarlison. The FA argues in its statement that Richarlison has admitted his conduct was inappropriate and, in addition to the match suspension, is fining him £25,000 (€29,000) for the incident.
Richarlison will serve the penalty on August 6 when Tottenham will host Southampton on the first day of the Premier League. The Brazilian striker signed last Friday for the ‘spurs’ after being transferred by Everton for 58 million euros and 11.6 in variables.
