Richarlison: “I will seek psychological help, people only had one eye on my money”

MADRID, 13 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Brazilian striker Richarlison acknowledged that he has gone through “turbulent” moments in the last five months, in which “people only had one eye on” his money, so now he will seek “psychological help,” ensuring that “the storm is already has passed”.

“On the field I’m a happy team player, I try to help as much as possible. Sometimes things don’t go the way we want. I think this part is a bit of the off-field part that ended up getting in my way. Even if you want to do things go well, they end up going wrong. I will continue focusing on the club, the storm has passed,” he explained about the situation of the last five “turbulent” months, in statements published by Globo Esporte.

The forward is not going through his best sporting moment, with only one goal at the beginning of the season, and he also revealed that he had recently had problems in his personal life, which is why he will seek psychological help. “Now things are good at home. People who only had one eye on my money moved away from me. Now things will start to flow, I’m sure I’ll have a good run at Tottenham,” he hoped.

Last Friday, in the 5-1 win by the ‘Canarinha’ over Bolivia, Richarlison was substituted in the second half and ended up crying on the bench due to an “outburst.” “That sad moment wasn’t even because I played badly, in my opinion I didn’t have a bad game, it was because of the things that were happening off the field, that got out of control,” he explained.

“I am going to return to England, I will seek psychological help, from a psychologist, to work on my mind. That’s all, come back stronger. I think I will be in the next (call), I will work for that. This week I am going to sit down “To talk to them, I need a good streak, to get into the rhythm of the game. This bad phase will pass. But it’s part of football, it’s about continuing to work hard. I know my potential, I know what I’m capable of,” he concluded.
