The Peruvian international Renato Tapia suffers a grade I fibrillar tear in the biceps femoris of his right leg, as revealed by tests carried out by Celta de Vigo’s medical services.
The midfielder was injured on October 8 when he was concentrating with his national team, which released him the next day from the international commitments for which he had been summoned to begin his recovery process in Vigo.
Tapia, indisputable for Eduardo “Chacho” Coudet, will be absent for about two weeks from now on, so he will miss the next league games that Celta will play against Sevilla, Getafe and Real Sociedad.
In the best of cases, the Peruvian midfielder could reappear on November 1 in the match between his team and Rayo in Vallecas. In case of not arriving, and unless he suffers a relapse, he would be at Coudet’s disposal the next day to face Barça.
