MADRID, 30 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Belgian cyclist Remco Evenepoel (Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl) has won this Tuesday the individual time trial of the tenth stage of the Vuelta a España, over 30.9 kilometers starting in Elche and finishing in Alicante, to strengthen his leadership in the general after the rest day.
Evenepoel did not give the rest an option. In bully mode, the European champion and world runner-up in the specialty broke the clock with 33:18 minutes. A pace that beat the unbeatable Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma) by 48 seconds in the La Vuelta time trials to date, who set the second fastest time.
Precisely, the Slovenian and three-time champion of the round was on the verge of defending his streak in the Spanish time trials, which to date had won each and every one of them, with four victories in La Vuelta and in Itzulia.
