Atlético is one step away from closing the signing of Reinildo Mandava, the Lille winger, in this winter market. The 28-year-old footballer is getting closer to becoming a new Atlético player. The defender will arrive to reinforce the left wing of the rojiblanco team and will be direct competition for Lodi. The player is waiting for the signing to be closed to undertake a trip to the capital of Spain. The idea is that it arrives in Madrid today.
Atlético has always had the intention of incorporating the player in this winter market. Trippier’s departure left room for the sports management to make a couple of signings: Wass was the first and Reinildo, who Atlético already has signed for next season, will be the second.
Lille has agreed to talk with Atlético to be able to incorporate the player now. At first he was very reticent but in the last few hours, before the closing of the transfer market, he has been less hermetic and the operation was very close to materializing for the remainder of the year. In principle, and if nothing abnormal happens, he will be the only footballer who can incorporate the Atlético squad in this market closure.
Atlético had offered just over two million euros to Lille so that the player could play from now on in the Wanda Metropolitano entity. In a few months the French club will lose him and the agreement between the two entities was already very close.
