Real Unión de Tenerife closes the list of qualifiers for the third round of the Queen’s Cup

Real Unión de Tenerife Santa Cruz beat RCD Espanyol of Barcelona 2-1 this Wednesday, with the winning goal scored in the final minutes, thanks to a duel that closed the second round of the Queen’s Cup, made up of eight single-party crosses.

Scored by striker Elsa Merillas in the 88th minute, that goal sealed Real Unión de Tenerife’s comeback in front of their home crowd. The closest tie was the one between Córdoba CF and CD Juan Grande (2-2), resolved on penalties (1-3) in favor of the Palma team.

After the clear 3-0 victory of CD Alba Fundación over Rayo Vallecano last Tuesday, and together with the aforementioned Real Unión de Tenerife and CD Juan Grande, this Wednesday CA Osasuna achieved their ticket for the next round , Real Oviedo, Granada CF, CP Cacereño and SD Eibar.
