MADRID, 12 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid will find out this Friday its itinerary and future rivals in the Club World Cup, a tournament to be held in Morocco from February 1 to 11, in a draw to be held at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Salé (Rabat), at 12:00 p.m.

Along with the whites, champions of the last edition of the Champions League, the other teams that will participate in the competition are Brazilian Flamengo, champion of the Copa Libertadores; the American Seattle Sounders, representative of the Concacaf; New Zealand Auckland City, champion of Oceania; Moroccan Wydad Casablanca, African champion, Al Ahly, runner-up on the African continent; and Al Hilal, Asian champion.

The opening match between Al Ahly and Auckland City on February 1 has already been defined, the winner of which will advance to the second round, where the Seattle Sounders, Al Hilal and Wydad Casablanca enter the competition.

Real Madrid and Flamengo will begin their participation in the semifinals of the tournament, which will be played on February 7 and 8, with the winners of the second round as rivals. The final will take place on Saturday, February 11.

The Madrid team, now playing in the Spanish Super Cup, already has three Intercontinentals (1960, 1998 and 2002) and four Mundialitos (2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018), so that, five years later, they will choose to win their fifth world title. The tournament will be held for the third time in Morocco, after the editions in Agadir and Marrakech in 2013, and in Rabat and Marrakech in 2014, both with European teams as champions -Bayern Munich and Real Madrid-.
