Real Madrid has won the National Geotiles LaLiga Promises Santander Tournament trophy after defeating FC Barcelona (2-0) this Sunday in the final held at the Estadio de la Cerámica in Vila-Real, raising the title for the fourth time time in the XXX edition of the tournament.
The white team thus joins this trophy to those achieved in 1999, 2000 and 2019 in the seventh final between the two teams in the juvenile tournament. The madridistas took the lead early, on a corner kick taken by Alberto Ruiz that Mikel headed into the back of the net.
Despite the fact that both teams had options to score in the second half, it was the whites who managed to do so through Alberto Ruiz, who faced the goal alone and beat the rival goalkeeper with a cross shot. The striker says goodbye as the top scorer of the tournament (9), in which he has also been chosen as the best player.
