Real Betis rowers win the Guadalquivir derby

MADRID, 12 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Real Betis boat has prevailed this Saturday in the traditional Sevilla-Betis regatta, which this year celebrated its LVI edition, and prolongs its idyll with the Guadalquivir, conquering its twelfth consecutive victory in the race.

The green-and-white boat progressively took a few meters ahead from the start, consolidated from the Expiration Bridge, and as it passed through the Triana bridge it managed to definitively distance itself from the Sevilla boat.

In this way, Betis raised the long-awaited ‘crocodile’, the heavy trophy that crowns the champion, winning its twelfth consecutive victory in the regatta, which allows it to reduce the distance in the balance of the historical general, which continues to dominate Sevilla FC (30-26).

On the other hand, Real Betis also won the women’s absolute test, in addition to the modalities of men’s candidates and veterans. Meanwhile, Sevilla FC prevailed in the two categories that were debuting in this 2022 edition, both that of female applicants and that of veterans.
