RC Celta presents the book of stories '100 years of courage and heart'

MADRID, 20 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The RC Celta has presented at the Abanca Balaídos Museum '100 anos de afouteza e corazón' -'100 years of courage and heart'-, the book of stories that compiles experiences of fourteen illustrious Celtists, who narrate, in first person, moments key to the history of the Galician club.

The chapters of this book cover the experiences of Jacobo Buceta, Pedro Feijoo, Sergio Álvarez, Juan Carlos Álvarez, Armando Álvarez, Evaristo Premos, Marta Larralde, Teresa Portela, Carlos Pereiro (Carlangas), Alicia Barreiro Graña, Paco Herrera, Paula Montes and Antonio Durán (Morris) to offer “a unique perspective on emblematic matches that have marked the centenary history of RC Celta.”

During the presentation, an event that was attended by several of the authors, journalist Lucía Taboada, editor of the book, presented the work. “This is not a book that tells the history of the club, it is much better than that,” she said.

“These pages hide something more than a literary work, they are a tribute to Celticism, by and for the fans, so it will be available to everyone in public libraries and schools, with the desire that each page transmits the affection, the afouteza and the heart that characterize the true feeling of this club with more than 100 years of history,” says the Galician entity.

Club advisors José Amoedo and Sergio Álvarez, journalists Juan Carlos Álvarez, Paula Montes and Armando Álvarez and several RC Celta season ticket holders selected by lottery participated in the event.
