Linares reaches the semi-final against Deportivo after qualifying on the last day for the playoff and with the cover sign. A modest club brimming with enthusiasm and has in its ranks a most peculiar goalkeeper, the Ghanaian Brimah Razak. The 34-year-old African goalkeeper monopolized all the spotlights last January when taking the field in the Copa del Rey tie against Barcelona with a striking look. The goal appeared on the lawn of the Municipal de Linarejos wearing a striking miner’s helmetcentral light included, which did not go unnoticed.
This was not the first time that Razak surprised with his originality. A year before, also in the Copa del Rey, he had already attracted attention. On that occasion the rival was Sevilla and the outfit chosen was a peculiar and eye-catching reindeer hat that his family gave him and that swept social networks. Nail curious customs to which he adds a little spiderman figure that he always carries with him and that place near your goal as a lucky charm. Without a doubt, this Saturday the spider-man will visit Riazor.
A moved goal
Oddities or superstitions aside, the Linares goal has had a curious season. Veteran Nauzet Pérez started as a starter and played the first nine gamesbut decided to leave the club for “personal reasons” in October. The goal passed into the hands of the Lithuanian Juskevicuisalthough in November Linares played Razak to cover the Nauzet low. The young Lithuanian played uninterruptedly until matchday 20when the Ghanaian regained prominence and it is expected that Riazor Razak will start. What is not known is if he has prepared a special look to surprise again.
