The Spanish gymnast Ray Zapata, silver in the floor modality of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, has given voice in a music video with the slogan ‘The Legacy Continues’ to the Christmas greeting of the Royal Spanish Gymnastics Federation (RFEG).
The standard bearer of gymnastics is encouraged to give a voice in this video inspired by his attitude and essence, and in which he presents the silver medal achieved in Tokyo to future generations.
After a year full of emotions, the Canarian gymnast reflects in this proposal his goal for the Paris 2024 Games, focusing on the daily work carried out by athletes with their team every day.
In this way, the Royal Spanish Gymnastics Federation closes a positive cycle, with one more medal for men’s artistic gymnastics, as well as first places in world championships in specialties such as trampoline and acrobatic.
Through this campaign, the aim is to continue spreading gymnastics and sport beyond the Olympic Games. “Gymnastics, sports make us great,” says Zapata.
