In 27 years, this game had the second-greatest number of Monday night viewers, after Week 11’s Eagles-Chiefs game this season. There would be no more games on Monday nights this season.
The Lions-Cowboys game will air on ESPN and ABC on Saturday night. The next Saturday, there will be two games. To end the wild-card weekend, both ESPN and ABC will show a game on Monday night.
Over 27 million people watched the Holiday Day game between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers on “Monday Night Football,” ESPN revealed Tuesday. This was the most viewers ever for a Ravens regular-season game.
Most people who watched a single Ravens game think it was in September 2013, when the team played the Denver Broncos on the road and lost 49–27.
That game was the start of Baltimore’s Super Bowl defense. The NFL says that 25.1 million people watched that game on TV or online.
The league says that no other Ravens game over the course of a season has had more than 23 million watchers. The Ravens beat the 49ers 33–19 on Monday night, giving them a 12–3 record.

The Ravens (12-3) easily beat the 49ers (11-4), winning 33–19. Lamar Jackson, quarterback for the Ravens, passed for 252 yards and two scores on 23 out of 35 attempts, making a strong case for the NFL MVP award. He ran seven times for 45 yards more.
After the game, Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said, “I thought Lamar had an MVP performance.”
“That kind of performance takes a team, but it takes a player to function at that level—to play at an MVP level—that has to be a player.” Lamar did everything on the field.
