Raúl Sanllehí is no longer General Manager of Real Zaragoza

The until now general director of Real Zaragoza Raúl Sanllehí leaves his position at the club after both parties reached an agreement for the termination of his contract, and assured that he leaves with the “satisfaction” of having helped the “strengthening” of the entity Aragonese, who will continue one more season in LaLiga Hypermotion.

“Real Zaragoza SAD wishes to inform all its members, fans and media about the termination by mutual agreement of the contract of the current general director, Raúl Sanillehí,” the club announced in a statement.

The entity assures that Sanllehí played a “fundamental” role in the modernization and professionalization of the entity. “His experience and dedication have been key in the development of various areas of the club, and his management has allowed us to establish the foundations for a promising future,” he said.

Regarding the decision to end this stage, Zaragoza assures that it has been made consensually and under the best terms, always seeking the best for the club.

“Real Zaragoza has experienced a period of great transformation under the direction of Raúl Sanllehí. His leadership and strategic vision have been fundamental for the growth and modernization of our club. We sincerely thank Raúl for his dedication and professionalism. He will always have a special place in the Zaragoza family,” said the president of Real Zaragoza, Jorge Mas.

For his part, Raúl Sanllehí said goodbye in an open letter, and assured that it was “an honor and a privilege” to be part of the club. “I leave with the satisfaction of having contributed to the development and strengthening of Real Zaragoza,” he said.

“I want to thank all the employees, players, fans and managers for their support and collaboration during my time here. I take away great memories and leave a team committed to a bright future. Aúpa Zaragoza!”, said Sanllehí.

In the coming days, Real Zaragoza will announce the organizational structure that will assume the functions performed by Raúl Sanllehí, with the aim of ensuring an orderly transition and continuing the work started.
