The member of the Real Madrid Board of Directors and patron of the Merengue team’s Foundation Raúl Ronda Ortiz, a member of the entity since 1985, died this Wednesday, as confirmed by the Madrid team in a statement.

Ronda Ortiz was a member of Real Madrid for 38 years, since 1985, and was part of the Boards of Directors chaired during the two stages of Florentino Pérez as president of the merengue club, from January 18, 2002 to July 2, 2006. and from June 1, 2009 to the present.

In addition to his work on the Board of Directors, he was a trustee of the Real Madrid Foundation, also in two periods, from January 18, 2002 to July 2, 2006 and from November 4, 2009 to the present.
