The Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid won the ticket for the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey after eliminating Elche (1-2), in a match that was decided in extra time. The local team opened the scoring with a goal from Gonzalo Verdú (103′) but in the second part of extra time the Whites came back with goals from Isco y Hazard. Real Madrid turned the score around with one less player, as Marcelo saw a red card in extra time.
