Randolph, Yabusele and Núñez, new positives at Real Madrid

MADRID, 21 Dic. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Real Madrid basketball players Anthony Randolph, Guerschon Yabusele and Juan Núñez have tested positive for COVID-19, as reported by the white club this Tuesday.

Randolph, who returned two games ago after a long period of inactivity due to injury, will return to the infirmary, like Yabusele, one of the most prominent in the merengue team in recent days. The young Juan Núñez has also been infected.

All three join the already confirmed positives of Vincent Poirier, confirmed last Monday, in addition to Fabien Causeur and Thomas Heurtel. Coach Pablo Laso has also tested positive for coronavirus and last weekend he could no longer sit on the bench.

Real Madrid will face CSKA Moscow this Thursday at the WiZink Center, waiting to see if they will be able to jump onto the pitch or the number of positives increases. The whites should be able to count on eight professionals to play the match.

The Euroleague has already announced this Tuesday the postponement of the Zalgiris Kaunas – Armani Milan, belonging to matchday 17 of the regular phase, for the same reason. The game may be rescheduled for the same reason up to three times.
