Ramón García vindicates his Campanadas with Ana Mena and Jennifer Hermoso: “I have two greats by my side”

Two days after its Chimes with Anna Mena (26) on TVE, Ramon Garcia (62) has taken stock and talked about what it means to present the Chimes with a young music star who was not born when he gave his first Chimes. He will also participate with them Jennifer Hermoso (33), who this year has made history along with the rest of the players of the Spanish National Team.

These are the presenter's 20th Chimes: “This year marks 15 on Spanish Television and 20 of all the ones I have done on television”he said this Friday, December 29, on Cadena Ser. And he joked: “The year I don't ring the Chimes, the country is screwed”.

The presenter of Grand Prix He also recalled that every year he greets the rivals of the rest of the networks (this year Cristina Pedroche and Alberto Chicote repeat on Antena 3 and Jesús Calleja and Marta Flitch present those of Telecinco): “I always like to greet everyone who arrives there. They have all arrived after Ramontxu”, he said between laughs. And she added that she likes to greet them for a compelling reason: “Especially because I give a lot of value to all the people who stand in front of a camera to do this on such an important day. It's complicated and people have a rough time of it. I like to give them a little peace of mind“.

Regarding his experience giving Campanadas, he has also spoken about the B side: “I had to arrive there a year after having learned of a sexist murder. How does one get there knowing that they killed a girl hours ago? It has to be told and it must be said. You have to claim things from Puerta del Sol, always without losing your balance“.

About Ana Mena and Jennifer Hermoso

“I have two greats by my side, very young. Ana Mena had not been born when I rang the first bells and Jenni was five years old. I won't tell you more,” she said about her companions, who make their debut at Puerta del Sol.

Regarding the soccer player, unfortunately also the protagonist of Rubiales' unwanted kiss, he added: “She is a world champion. It is a vindictive and fundamental image in these times in terms of equality. People wonder why she is there. Damn, you won't seem like a world champion“. About the Malagña artist, he also said: “She is one of the best singers with international projection. She has been nominated as one of the best artists of the year.”

For whatever may come, he has also come out in defense of both: “Both Ana and Jenni are very excited. Let's not be so banal as to criticize a woman for a dress or the clothes she wears or doesn't wear.“.
