This year’s TVE Chimes are performed by David Broncano and Lalachus. The couple of The Revolt will appear on the balcony of Puerta del Sol to broadcast one of the most important events on television.
They take over from Ramón García, who loses his position in the Campanadas to give it to the new star of the public network. Ramontxu will only be present this time in TVE’s Christmas programming through three Grand Prix specials that they recorded “in summer at 40 degrees.”
Ramón García wanted to send a message to Broncano and Lalachus. “As the chief bell ringer of the kingdom, I would like to wish Lalachus and David the best of luck.. You are going to do extremely well. Your way of presenting is going to break with the usual of the Chimes,” said the veteran communicator.
“You are going to be lucky enough to work with the RTVE team that I have been with for four decades,” the presenter continued. “I have always done the Chimes and I have taken the Chimes on TVE and this year, more than ever, I am with you”he said before joining Broncano in a hug.
