Luis Miguel Ramis arrived at CD Tenerife in the 20/21 season with the aim of saving the team from relegation after the dismissal of Fran Fernández. On matchday 14 of that season, Ramis made his debut against UD Almería in the Mediterranean Games, losing the match 2-0.
The Catalan coach achieved ten victories in the league championship and two in the Copa del Rey against Sestao River and CD Castellón in the first two knockout ties, totaling twelve wins in both competitions. In that season, they drew nine times and lost eleven games, one of them in the third round of the chaos tournament against Villarreal CF at the Rodríguez López by 0-1.
In the current campaign, the results have meant that the Canarian team is in the top positions of the qualifying table and that, currently, fight for direct promotion to the First Division or, at least, secure a place in the promotion playoff to the highest category of Spanish football.
After playing 23 games this season, the blue and white coach has obtained 12 wins, one in the Cup against CD Ibiza Islas Pitiusas, 6 draws and 7 losses, one of them in the second Cup tie against SD Éibar.
