Milan enjoy their leadership and weighs whether to sign a replacement for Ibrahimovic up front (Jovic continues to sound), but very soon he will have to fix a fundamental issue for his future: the renovation of Gigio Donnarumma. Despite his 21 years, the goalkeeper already has 223 games for the club and ends his contract in June: losing him would be a very hard blow, and much more as a free agent.
The ‘Corriere della Sera’ revealed today that Mino Raiola, the goalkeeper's agent, would have 'scared' the rossoneri informing them that he already has “very important” offers from Juventus and Inter on the table. The milanista offer to renew, for now, would not exceed 8 million euros net per season, two more from the current agreement. Apparently they will not be enough and there is also another obstacle: the termination clause. Raiola wants it not to exceed 30 million euros, to have an easy escape route if the Milanese project takes too long to take off. Of course, the club can count on the player's affection, milanista from the cradle despite being Neapolitan, and raised in Milanello.
A very different situation to that of Calhanoglu, which also ends contract and it will hardly be fixed. Much will depend on how this course ends: if Milan will finally return to the Champions League, it will be much easier to find an agreement and stay together. And, today, the truth is that it is very difficult to imagine those from Pioli outside of the first four places in Calcio.
