For its part, the Commission of Competitions organized by the RFEF with the clubs has addressed the creation of work groups for the different tournaments. During the meeting in the city of football, the proposal to establish geographical proximity in the first qualifiers of the Copa del Rey has been put on the table, as well as issues related to competition calendars or the improvement of the facilities where football matches are played.

At the end of the meeting, the president of the RFEF judged the objectives of it satisfied, noting that this is “the first step of a path that will lead to the reform of the arbitration system.” “It is the first that we start something like that and we are sure that sitting at the same table we can reach great agreements,” he added.

For Louzán they are still in “the zero kilometer”, but that first defend “transparency.” “We have a regulation and regulations that we are willing to modify as far as possible with the participation of all football actors. The RFEF doors will always remain open,” he concluded.

Club representatives have thanked this pioneer initiative headed by the RFEF, which will now be divided into periodic sector meetings within the framework of a reform commission already converted since Wednesday into a fully operational body that will transfer its first improvements to competitions for next season.
