Rafa Mujica, another fallen in combat by COVID-19

COVID-19 continues to wreak havoc within the first team of Unión Deportiva Las Palmas. Thus, this morning it became known that Rafa Mujica he tested positive for antigens last night.

It so happens that the Gran Canaria striker he was already isolated as he had been in close contact with Sergio Ruiz, that on Friday he had tested positive for COVID-19. Both encountered this strange circumstance in full concentration of the team at the Marbella Football Center. Mujica is isolated in the team's concentration hotel, while Ruiz himself was able to travel to his home in Santander on time.

These two cases make a total of three in the current Las Palmas preseason. Christian Cedrés also fell into the clutches of COVID-19, although he did not travel to Marbella waiting for the full recovery of his right knee, whose anterior cruciate ligament was torn in Vallecas last December.
