José Rojo “Pacheta” has returned the illusion to Huesca. From the first moment he landed in El Alcoraz, he activated the locker room and connected the fans. A coup that was confirmed after the 1-3 victory at José Zorrilla Valladolid in his third game as a Alto Aragonese coach. The coach from Burgos has recovered players who did not count for Míchel and has taken the best version of others that were not decisive.
The most significant example is that of Rafa Mir. The Murcian forward alternated starts with substitutions, but Pacheta has changed the chip and Pucela saw the best performance of a Huesca player in the First Division. The 23-year-old striker who is owned by Wolverhapmton scored three goals and achieved thanks to that performance, his first triplet in a league match and that breaks a streak of 13 years without a Barça footballer having scored three goals in a game. The last to do so was Roberto García Cabello, he achieved it against the Athletic Bilbao subsidiary in 2008.
Rafa Mir is on loan from Wolverhampton until the end of the season. Huesca has 25% of its rights, but the purchase option does not seem viable since the Alto Aragonese would have to pay more than 10 million euros to get their services.
