Quique completes a lap at his worst

Quique completed a full lap at the helm of Getafe on Saturday in Cornellá. Nineteen games with many more lights than shadows. Six wins, eight draws and five losses contemplate him, which allowed a sunken team to come out of relegation and now live with five rivals below in the standings. The azulones have become very strong in the Coliseum, they are seeing the door with some ease and they had closed the one in Soria, although that has not been happening in recent days.

In the last four games, Getafe has conceded almost as many goals as in the previous fifteen. The nine goals received in this section are the biggest concern of Quique and the azulones. They had only conceded one more in the coach’s first fifteen days. Geta has lost its fang and makes inadmissible mistakes in the words of Quique himself. With that weakness behind, the team is going through its worst streak with four days without winning, something that had not happened before with the Madrid player on the bench.

There is no alarm going off, but the intention that is born within the locker room to recover the essence that led the team to a lightning reaction. Bordalás returns to the Coliseum on Saturday in a very morbid match. For that match Quique will recover Aleñá, Jorge Cuenca and Damián Suárez, who did not play in Barcelona due to suspension. All eyes are on Mauro Arambarri who suffers from a muscle injury and is an essential footballer. His five previous absences have resulted in as many defeats for Getafe.
