Dona Sofia turns 84 this Wednesday, November 2. A life of loyalty to the family and to the institution that presides over his son, Philip VI. The queen emeritus faces a quiet and discreet stage, always accompanied by her sister, Irene from Greece; and always aware of her two daughters, Elena y Cristina; and the eight grandchildren of him. Since Don Juan Carlos left Spain, in August 2020, to settle in Abu Dhabi, Doña Sofía lives oblivious to the investigations to which her husband has been subjected, her regularization with the Treasury; and above all, the Corinna Larsen case.
