Queen Letizia flies to Colombia alone: ​​the details of her cooperation trip

The international agenda of Doña Letizia starts. The Queen takes flight to Colombia this Monday June 12 with the Spanish Agency for Cooperation (AECID). An intense travel program that will last until the 14th. We will see the Queen again with the red vest of her volunteer service. She will wear her work uniform: basic jeans, white shirt, and boots.

Doña Letizia will have the opportunity to see first-hand the work carried out by Cooperación Española in different fields, which are part of its commitment and where it has focused for years: health, gender equality, childhood, education, inclusive employment, life in rural environments and food security.

It will also hold meetings with social agents on the eradication of poverty and women, from the debate on gender equality, the empowerment of women and girls and the fight against any form of violence. Other areas that will also be addressed are: inclusive economic growth, with attention to work for the ethnic, indigenous and Afro-descendant population; as well as access to employment for young people. Doña Letizia is accompanied by the Secretary of State for International Cooperation, Pilar Cancela.
