The coach of the Scottish Glasgow Celtic, Ange Postecoglou, described this Wednesday’s visit to Real Madrid as a “historic” game and that he wants it to be remembered “as a memorable one” against a rival they await at their “best level” despite to your latest results.
“We are looking forward to this match because it is historic. It is a pride to be able to play against one of the biggest teams in the world and I hope that we will all remember it as a memorable match, including our fans,” Postecoglou confessed this Tuesday at a collected press conference on the Real Madrid website.
The Australian coach expects “a great atmosphere” at the Santiago Bernabéu, “an iconic world stadium” where “matches to remember” are played. “We are looking forward to this wonderful experience,” he said.
Regarding the match, he knows that they will encounter difficulties against Real Madrid, “regardless of the results they have had before”. “They still have something to fight for in this Champions League, so we hope they are at their best level and so are we,” he said.
