Portugal summons Jota and Bruno and avoids the Premier blockade

Fernando Santos will be able to count on all his international footballers who play in the Premier for the matches against Azerbaijan, Serbia and Luxembourg in the next break. Several English clubs, including Liverpool and United, had ensured that if Portugal played at home in their country, they would not give up their Portuguese players to avoid having to do a mandatory ten-day quarantine on their return, as imposed by the current restriction in the United Kingdom (Portugal, along with several countries in Africa and Latin America are on the red list of the British Government). So, In order to summon fundamental pieces of the team such as Ruben Dias (City), Diogo Jota (Liverpool), Bernardo Siva (City) and Bruno Fernandes (United), the Portuguese federation has decided to take the match of March 26 against Azerbaijan to Turin and thus avoid the restrictions of the Premier clubs.

In addition to the Premier League players, Fernando Santos has included several LaLiga players on his list: Rui Silva and Duarte, from Granada, and Joao Félix, from Atlético. The call-up is led by the incombustible Cristiano Ronaldo and Pepe, who despite their seniority continue to be the great leaders in attack and defense, respectively, of the current European champion.
