Ponferradina achieves the loan of Manu Hernando

La Deportiva announced this Friday the agreement with Real Madrid for the loan of central defender Manu Hernando (Palencia, 1998), who will play for the Berciano team after passing through Racing de Santander last season.

Formed in the lower categories of Real Madrid and internationally with the U21 National TeamManu Hernando made his debut for Castilla in Segunda B in the 2017-18 season and remained in the first white subsidiary until his departure to Racing in the last winter market. With the Cantabrians he played 15 games in the Second Division, 14 of them as a starter.

On the other hand, Ponferradina confirmed the incorporation of Asturian coach Pablo Lago as second to Jon Pérez Bolo, with whom he coincided as a footballer at Rayo Vallecano and Numancia. As a coach, Pablo Lago has directed Luarca, Langreo (promoted to Second B), Caudal, Avilés and Gimnástica de Torrelavega.

This year I was going to train the Sporting de Gijón cadet team, combining it with work for the club's sports management, but the possibility of occupying a bench in professional football caused him to leave the Asturian team to accept Deportiva's offer.
