In an extensive interview with the newspaper 'Ace', the ex sevillista Anton Polster spoke, among many other things, of the possible arrival of his compatriot David Alaba to the Real Madrid.
The Austrian said that “playing for Madrid is his dream, but it won't be easy. In the Bayern he is well loved and has won many titles. Achieving the same in Madrid is very difficult. But it is a risk he has taken, he has thought it through and now I wish him good luck ”.
Polster added that it is “a lot of pressure for a newcomer. He wanted a new chapter in his career and Madrid will have an exceptional player who can perform in many places. In the center of the field, in the center of the defense, on the left … he can do everything. It is a good decision, I think he has done well by choosing Madrid ”.
He also spoke of Erling haaland, of which he commented that “Lewandowski has been the best of the year, I would say the best in the world. But Haaland has it all. He is fantastic, he has speed, technique, he protects the ball well … ”.
And he assured that “I think he will continue one more year at Dortmund, but then he has to play for one of the greats. His destiny is to win the Champions League and at Borussia he cannot win it ”.
