Barça futsal closes the 2021-22 season with four titles out of five possible in the first year of Jesus Velasco on the bench: League, Champions League, Spanish Cup and Spanish Super Cup.
After being first in the Liga regular, eliminated ElPozo Murcia (quarter-finals) and Viña Alba Valdepeñas (semi-finals) before beating Palma Futsal in the final. In the Spanish Cup won the final against ElPozo Murcia in an exciting penalty shootout after 3-3. In the Spanish Super Cup they also won the title on penalties against Palma Futsal. And in the Champions League thrashed Sporting de Portugal in a grand final (4-0).
Only one direct elimination competition like the Copa del Rey, in a single match round of 16 on the Betis court, which won on penalties after 3-3. The champion, by the way, in a sign of the uncertainty of the tournament, was a team from the Second Division, UMA Antequera, which was later promoted.
