Plazy, the startup that washes the America’s Cup boats with 1.5 liters of water

The sustainable cleaning system consumes the equivalent of a bottle of water compared to the 300 liters of traditional washing

MADRID, 3 Sep. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The startup Plazy uses a system that can wash boats like those currently participating in the America’s Cup in Barcelona with just 1.5 liters, the equivalent of a large bottle of water, instead of the 300 liters used in a traditional boat, with the consequent savings to deal with the drought.

To address this challenge, Plazy, the startup that offers sustainable home washing for vehicles, boats and homes, offers a more environmentally friendly solution, saving more than 90% of water consumption.

The company’s CEO and co-founder, Davide Brea, highlighted the company’s commitment to sustainability. “We firmly believe that protecting the environment and caring for a boat can go hand in hand. That’s why we offer a tailor-made cleaning service, adapted to the needs of each client. With minimal water consumption and ecological products, we guarantee an impeccable result without damaging the environment. From interior and exterior cleaning to special treatments,” he commented.

The products used in Plazy’s cleaning service are ecological, biodegradable and respectful of the sea, as well as being careful with the materials of the boats. Thanks to their formulation, the cleanings do not generate harmful waste, offering a responsible and sustainable alternative to traditional boat washing.

After its launch in Barcelona, the startup has already conquered other Spanish territories such as Madrid, Granada, Malaga, Valencia, Blanes and Palma de Mallorca.

The startup also offers cleaning services for vehicles and homes, all carried out using sustainable and responsible methods. Users can book the service through an online platform, where they specify the desired time and location.

The ‘plaziers’, as the company’s workers are known, travel to the place agreed with the client in eco-friendly vehicles, carrying all the necessary cleaning materials. Since its creation in 2020, Plazy has managed to save more than a million litres of water with its home services.
