Pirlo: “We have to improve to get to know Barcelona”

Andrea Pirlo, who took his hat off to the Blaugrana exhibition at Juventus Stadium, did not want to do much blood on the role of his pupils, despite the overwhelming defeat (0-2), more in the game than on the scoreboard.

What is your assessment of the defeat?

We are talking about one of our first appearances in the Champions League. We are a team that need time and we are learning too. It will surely serve as a lesson. But obviously today we are far from the Barça level. We have to improve a lot to reach them.

Has there been a bit of bad luck with the goals canceled against Morata?

I don't know if we have had bad luck with the goals. We must improve in many aspects of the game.

What did you like the least?

We have to position ourselves better in the field. Dybala and Kulusevski have been on the field together many times.

Is this Juventus worse than the one in the 2015 Champions League final?

It cannot be compared. We are talking about a change of cycle. As we have said, we are starting a project and you have to have a little patience.

Have you missed Cristiano?

Yes, but even more to Ramsey. He is a very important player for us to give strength and talent to our game. The only thing I hope is to recover as soon as possible the largest number of my players.
