Pierce Brosnan, accused of wandering through prohibited hot spring areas of Yellowstone

Pierce Brosnan will have to appear before the Yellowstone Justice Center (Montana, USA), after allegedly having entered protected thermal areas of that American national park.

According to a criminal file filed Tuesday in the US District Court in Wyoming, obtained by US media CNN and Peoplethe actor of James Bond has been allegedly charged with “walking in all thermal areas and in Yellowstone Canyon limited to trails… and violation of closures and limits of use”.

The charges that Brosnan, 70, faces are from November 1 and are classified as minor offence. The actor has been summoned to the Yellowstone Justice Center located in Montana on January 23.

Yellowstone is considered the first national park in the world and is famous for its unique hydrothermal and geological features.

On its official website, the park advises visitors to follow a series of rules around thermal areas such as do not walk through them after darkin addition to prohibiting swimming, soaking or bathing in waters that are entirely of thermal origin.

In October the actor was filming the film at the Yellowstone Film Ranch. Unholy Trinityby Richard Gray, in which he shares credits with Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon Lessard y Ethan Peck.
