Pesic: “This streak is part of the season, we must learn”

BARCELONA, Jan. 15 (SportsFinding) –

Barça coach Svetislav Pesic has commented that “he is part of the season” his streak of three consecutive losses in the Euroleague and that they must “learn” from it to improve, starting with this Thursday's visit to a Fenerbahçe who is in an opposite situation since, after a bad start, now adds three straight wins.

“They, after three consecutive victories, are in a good situation. We, although we did not win in the last matches, also and this is part of the season, you have to learn and improve,” Pesic said Wednesday to the official media from the club culé.

After falling last Tuesday on the track of the Maccabi in Tel Aviv, and losing previously against Anadolu Efes and Baskonia, Barça seeks a redemptive victory on a complicated track and against a Fenerbahçe with all available players and also cured morally speaking.

“Now we have a very hard calendar, against high quality teams, but it is important not to think about the past and only think about how we can improve some details of our game, such as rebound. It is decisive to rebound to control our destiny,” Peisc said.

On the rival, he highlighted his improvement. “Not long ago they are complete, they add three games with all the players. Yesterday they also started with new players, and it is not easy to play if you are injured. But Fenerbahçe has quality, has experience, and is not new to us,” relativized.

“I think that against Maccabi, in a very difficult field, we played a solid game. We had our chance, some concentration is missing in the lost balls. We always prepare to win, but the Euroleague is very competitive,” he commented on the recent stumble ( 92-85) on the Hebrew track.
