Pescados Rubén Burela wins his fourth consecutive Copa de la Reina against Atlético Navalcarnero

MADRID, 8 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Pescados Rubén Burela FS has won its fourth consecutive Futsal Queen’s Cup, and fifth in its record, after beating Atlético Navalcarnero (3-3) on penalties this Sunday in the final played at Pabellón Paco Paz in Ourense.

In the first few minutes, Ale de Paz saved a shot from Ju Delgado on the goal line with the goalkeeper already beaten. Already in the 14th minute, Peque put the Galician team ahead from the left flank, but María Sanz offered a reply from the edge of the box on the following play.

Two minutes later, Ana Luján put the Madrid team ahead to go to the locker room with an advantage and, after the break, Emilly tied again for the team from Lugo.

Becha made it 3-2 for Madrid with a great spur goal from Ana Luján’s pass, but the Galicians neutralized it through Lara Balseiro. With this, extra time was forced, which did not undo the tie, and it was the penalties, with a decisive shot by Cilene, that decided the champion.
