Pepe Reina, in a fight with Rufián after the politician’s mockery: “Calm down, Gabriel”

Pepe Reina y Gabriel Ruffian They have staged a crossroads of statements on social networks as a result of the Constitutional Court having paralyzed, for the first time in its history, a parliamentary debate in the Cortes Generales. This provoked the indignation of the sector of the left and the Coalition Government of PSOE and Unidas Podemos.

In this sense, Rufián was critical this Monday. On Twitter he was humorous and implicated the former goalkeeper of the Spanish National Team in one of his tweets: “Last minute. The Constitutional Court decides to paralyze a plenary session of the Senate that it doesn’t like, give Real Madrid one more Champions League, make it President of Congress to Pepe Reina and classify the over salaries of the PP as a tip”.

The Madrid athlete, a sympathizer of the right, responded to the ERC politician: “Calm down Gabriel. I’m only going to be 18 months. You have to come up with another plan, at the moment ‘the coup’ is not turning out as you expected. Good luck”.

The Plenary of the Constitutional Court (TC) agreed this Monday to urgently suspend the parliamentary processing, already in the Senate, of the two amendments by which the system of election and arrival of the two candidates to the TC appointed by the General Council is modified of the Judiciary (CGPJ), thus admitting the very cautious measures requested by the PP of Alberto Núñez Feijóo in his appeal against those amendments.

It is the first time, in its more than 40-year history, that the Constitutional Order urgently suspends a parliamentary debate in the Cortes Generales, so it is an unprecedented decision.
