Rayo Vallecano confirmed this Wednesday the signing of Spanish defender Pep Chavarría, who signs for five seasons with the Madrid team from Real Zaragoza.
The left-back, at 24 years old, will make the leap to LaLiga Santander after playing 76 games for Zaragoza since his arrival in 2020, scoring a goal. In this way, Rayo rushes the last hours before the market close to strengthen some of the positions with fewer troops.
The Catalan will reinforce the left flank of Andoni Iraola’s team, eleventh in the table after the first three days, in which they have won a win, a draw and a loss. Thus, Chavarría could enter the squad for the next match at El Sadar against Osasuna.
