On Del Cerro Grande: “Liquidating a party, with a lack of personality, is unfortunate”

The Real Betis coach, Manuel Pellegrini, pointed out that the match “was over” with Edgar’s expulsion after 20 minutes, a decision made by the referee Del Cerro Grande without “personality”, in the defeat (4-0) against the FC Barcelona.

The Chilean coach explained his discomfort with the two yellow cards to his player in seven minutes. “It’s important to clarify the card thing. The first one didn’t seem yellow to me. On the other hand, Pellegrini revealed that Joaquín might not be able to play anymore this season, his goodbye, when he aspires to be the player with the most games in the First Division. “Joaquín suffered a knee injury, surely it will be difficult for him to play in the next games. We also had Luiz Felipe’s injury, Edgar’s yellow, then Montoya couldn’t either, we ended up with almost eight players,” he finished.
