Betis's plan for the 2021-2022 campaign is already underway and Manuel Pellegrini is in the center of the spotlight. The technician proved to be an essential piece in this project after obtaining the European banknote and he intends that the planning is executed to a large extent for the start of the preseason. Pellegrini knows how important it is for the construction of the new campus to be quick and there are no major needs in the final stretch of the market, something that did happen last year. In this sense, the Chilean has already indicated his preferences on where the club should make more efforts and also crosses his fingers so that almost forced sales do not diminish the quality of his group.
Pellegrini stressed in several interviews the importance of the preseason in the final result of the project of each course. Hence the special need for Antonio Cordón to execute movements in the coming weeks. The first will arrive in defense: the exits of Emerson and Mandi, key in the recent achievements of the team, force a reconstruction in defense imminently. Pellegrini wants safe bets for those positions, although at the moment there is caution in Heliópolis with the movements to be made. Names like Héctor Bellerín's are on the table, although salary limits also come into play with some of the conditioned objectives of the sports management.
